Supporting the Causes Megan Cared About Most

A Central Oregon native, she graduated from Mountain View High School in 2019 and Boise State University in 2023. Megan recently began teaching full-time at Silver Rail, where she had previously worked as a substitute teacher.

Megan's family remembers her as compassionate, outspoken and deeply committed to children, especially those with special needs. She coached volleyball and once declined payment so children from families who could not afford to participate could still play.

Friends and family describe Megan as a bright presence who stood up for others and brought kindness to her work and community. Her loss has been deeply felt across Bend and Central Oregon.

Gifts to this fund will support causes that include education, mental health, services for children with special needs and Oregon schools. It may also support local volleyball programs in Central Oregon.
