Donate to the Natural Law Conservation Fund.

This fund was created to support models of Indigenous conservation and cultural engagement with America’s public and private lands.
To learn more about Indigenous land management you can read this article in TIME by Caddo Nation tribal member, Joe Whittle. After serving 16 seasons total as a US Forest Service backcountry wilderness ranger and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife experimental biology aide, Whittle realized better solutions are needed to properly care for America’s public lands.
Contributions are currently needed to grow the Natural Law Conservation Corps (NLCC), an Indigenous-led wildland stewardship program partnering skilled conservation workers with Indigenous community members who want to learn ecological stewardship skills in paid internships that will qualify them for entry level conservation fieldwork positions. The NLCC executes research, preservation, restoration and education projects in the fields of fish and wildlife, botany, endangered species, invasive species, hydrology, archeology, cultural resource protection, recreation impacts and other land management sciences. The program aims to boost tribal economies, help tribal natural resource departments source qualified conservation workers from their own communities and fill gaps in public land management by sending skilled workers into the field to accomplish conservation projects that are aligned with Indigenous priorities. The mission of the Natural Law Conservation Corps is to serve the best interests of the Land and its Communities of Life. Everything the NLCC does is guided by local Indigenous leadership, and the Indigenous principles often referred to as the Natural Laws.
